You are a terrific story teller, Alex. Thanks for taking us along for the ride with your cheery and harrowing documentation. For my taste, too close to the edge at one point, as you pedaled up that steep hill of sand, gravel and rocks.

Thanks! There is a point on the video where the clearest path was next to the ledge, and stepping off the bike would have been the smart thing to do.

Alex, you truly are the King of the Mountains! Not only are you a gifted cyclist but an incredible storyteller to boot! Can’t wait for the next climb story. I know you are way ahead of us, wishing you well & good health on the next legs of the adventure. I know your mind has the ability to push you through just about anything and no doubt your body is taking the worst beating, be sure to tell us how you relax and give yourself a break… you deserve it! Up,up Alex ❤️

Thanks! The cycling is fine, I’m not on the bike nearly as much as we were in Africa (though I do have some days in a row coming up because the rides will be in close proximity). It’s the travel, all the driving and flying and weird sleep schedule stuff that’s the true endurance challenge. But I’m such a sicko I kind of enjoy that also. It hasn’t happened yet but I’m looking forward to the day I forget which country I’m in.
